Today the Texas Attorney General’s office filed papers to seize control of the YFZ Ranch. Maybe they’ll use it somehow to help the women and children, but it kinda sounds like the state just wants them all to leave. We’ll see.
Warren Jeffs bought the land by proxy for $700,000 in 2003. How much do you think 1700 acres in central Texas would go for now? The 2008 raid cost the state $14M+, I’m sure they’d like any money they can get from the FLDS
